Living in The Shires is an example of a quality local publication, telling local stories and supporting local businesses. It serves a community of six suburbs in Brisbane, and is delivered free to more than 12,000 households and businesses four times a year. In 2016, this small community magazine was shortlisted with three other publications for the Publish Awards, in the category circulation under 20,000.
